A Unique Standard Of Care

Providence Care. The name represents both a philosophy and standard of caring. In January of 1998, St. Luke Health Services became the first long-term care provider in our area to open a special unit dedicated to the care and treatment of residents who suffer from dementia-related illnesses, such as Alzheimer's Disease. For more information about Alzheimer's Disease or other dementia related illnesses, contact the Alzheimer's Association.

MEETING SPECIAL NEEDS

The Providence Care unit serves residents who are diagnosed with early to middle stages of dementia in an atmosphere that is safe, comfortable and supportive. The philosophy of individual freedom in the least restrictive yet safest environment makes Providence Care a unique experience. Our Providence Care residents are engaged with many special activities available on this unit. Activities are structured to reflect each individual's unique interests and skills. Part of the challenge for our Providence Care staff is to remain flexible to individual needs while ensuring the best care is administered. We succeed in both.

OUR PROVIDENCE CARE STAFF

Excellence in service is put into practice by the entire staff at St. Luke.
